Something I hadn't noticed til I saw Chewy's picture....how the yellow Case's back spring extends down the entire butt end of the handle....none of my others do.....Queen, SM, RR....even this black Case in this pictures doesn't match the Yellerz back spring...(??)

Thanks Chewy! I've got the black handled Queen on the way! I wanted to try black, as I thought the brass pins and liners looked real nice against the black handles.

As I said in the OP, for me personally the Bulldog is a little too thin, but those Queens look like they're going to be a nice fit in the hand.

Verrrrrrry interesting. I can understand how one manufacturer may be different from another, but I wonder why Case would differ from the yellow to the black handles?

I also have one I re-handled...it used to be black....and it too has a back spring like the yellow one...so it's not just about color of the handles.....??

Hmmmm ....... Maybe like you said earlier: Depends on who put them together, and what they had for lunch! Would date of manufacture have anything to do with it?
