Hiya!
I have the SOG Bowie and it's one of my favorites. I have to admit that I don't use it though. It's way too pretty!
However, when I'm away from home, this is the knife I take to sleep with me.

Vampire Gerbil: Nosferatus Rodentus Moderatus; similar to a domestic gerbil, except for the odd accent and little black cape.

Great knives!
For my taste the handle could be a bit longer. One feature I like very much: you can put your index-finger in front of the guard. (this also solves the thing with the short handle).
I like both. (they have exact the same dimensions)
