Sog desert dagger

I am considering the Sog Desert dagger for purchase. I would appreciate some comments on construction and blade steel. Is this a full tang product? Is there something else that I should consider in the same vein? I like the serrations on the blade, blade length and the guard. Thanks for the help.

i believe that the steel is AUS8... not sure about that.

it is full tang.

the only other production knife i have that is similar is the Katz Dive knife... but it only has a 4" blade and no pommel.

The Desert Dagger is AUS6A. The new Daggerts are AUS8A.
