first of all im new here and thanks to all that take the time to read this and for any feed back. well i just recently purchased a sog flash 1 and i have to say i was very disappointed with the overall quality. I know it is not a high end sog but i really expected more because of the name. it had a lot of blade play both up and down and side to side. the open assist worked really well but the lock and well the knife overall just felt cheap. that being said the knife was returned. I then purchased a crkt ripple for 3 dollars less and i am pleased to say i am very impressed with this knife, very sharp, no play in the blade and good centering. this knife just feels good in my hand and feels very well made. thanks again for reading
