SOG jungle primitive

I am considering the jungle primitive for camping purposes. My buddy has one and he uses it to cut fire wood as well as any other such duty that presents itself. I figure it can serve as sort of a hybrid between a hatchet and a fixed blade. I have found the jungle primitive online as low as $30. What are yalls opinions on it and do you know of any alternatives out there with better quality for a competitive price?

Would anyone recommend going the alternate path of a hatchet and fixed blade as opposed to the primitive?

the primative is an ok knife if your just doing small tasks in your yard but for hard use look at some of the ontario knives like the sp10 or rtak2
