I honestly carried a SoG Trident for 6 months. The Zytel handle not so hot....but you know what it cut everything I needed it to and held a decent edge. For the price... If I needed to spend under $60 or so I'd definitely buy another one. Very light to carry and Very low pocket clip carry.

I only have one Sog, a Flash 2 folder. Its been my EDC for about 1yr. Im happy with it, big blade,very lightweight, excellent pocket clip. Super fast and easy open. Their Fixed blades dont really float my boat.
I have had a Spec Elite 1, Flash 2,Twitch 2,trident in folders. I liked them all but other than the Spec elite1 I had a hard time opening them due to my screwed up thumb joint. I had a powerlock multitool that was nice but got rid of it to fund another purchase.
In fixed blades I have had a couple seal pups one of which I have abused for 7 years and it is just awesome and top notch. I have also had a seal team elite that was a good all around woods knife. I got rid of it stupidly but am saving up to get another. SOG has taken heat lately about some of their newer models but speaking only for the older ones I have had I would say are a great value.
