In April 2004, I bought three Limited Edition (Seki) SOG knives; a Government with stacked leather handle, a North West Ranger and Pentagon both with cocobolo handles. I bought them from a collector here in Australia for a pretty reasonable price at the time, an amount equivalent to their non LE counterparts. All three were serialised with the number 025.
I did a bit of research after the purchase to find that SOG issued four knives in the series, 250 of each around 1995.
I was missing the Desert Dagger with sacked leather handle . I kept an eye on forums, consignment sales and auction sites. Over the years I had seen a couple of these individual knives pop up, but never really thought the 025 Desert Dagger unicorn would raise its head.
Then last week, 15 years after my initial purchase, my Grail showed up on a local forum.

    SET COMPLETE!

That's brilliant! Shows what a goal and determination can achieve. Very nice set to have.

    Thanks.
Determination had something to do with it, but luck probably played a bigger part.
