I finally had the opportunity to handle some SOGs and compare them first hand to my LM Wave and Kick (which I don't use anymore). One thing I didn't like about the SOGs is that the blades had a one sided edge. They did have a better opening ability, very smooth. But, I like to be able to access my blade from the outside.

For 6.50 you can order a new double sided blade from sog. I just did and it is much better quality and in my opinion a little larger and wicked sharp.
