I have used both the MK2000 and the field pup in various trips. I never used them for hunting purposes though.
I personally would not feel under knifed with either one. Both worked pretty good for food and fire prep. Cutting chores are a no brainer. The only thing I really didn't like about the fieldpup is the recurve of the blade. If you didn't have a pen shaped sharpener it was a little difficult to sharpen. In a pinch you could use a round river stone. The mora was easy and straight forward even with the different grinds. As for edge holding, The mora recieved a dent in the edge when I batonned it through some hard wood, but it was still pretty sharp. The fieldpup stuffered no ill effects from batoning it also stayed pretty sharp. I think that was all I could remember right now lol.
