Let's ask SOG to make it ASAP, with plain edge and maybe somewhat less cutout at the edge's rear part!

Not so fast with losing the cutout at the rear of the edge.
Personally, I'd like to see that area milled exactly as top of the blade, for thumb-and-forefinger control of the blade for precise cutting control.
Don't worry. It'll still look and perform as a 'tactical' knife. It would just provide a useful utility feature in addition.
