The SCUBA/Demo knife is a reproduction/replica of one of the rarest Vietnam military knives ever made to date. Of the original batch of 39 knives made, only 1 out of the lot has survived till this day. SOG has revived this knife by producing a copy that is made as close as possible to the original knife, except for a few shape changes.

The SOG Scuba Demo is a pretty good reproduction of the original. Made at the Kinryu factory in Seki 2001-2008.
Wish I still had mine.
The only photo I have ever seen of an original vietnam era Scuba Demo is below:

I think the Scuba/Demo and the Recon Bowie are the most graceful knives made in Seki Japan and offered by SOG.

The SOG Scuba Demo never really caught my interest, but the Randall 16 with sawteeth is pretty similar and is probably cheaper these days, for a much better knife. I have one that I have dived with a few times in a nylon and kydex sheath. The leather model is a 'W' model which is soaked in wax, But I prefer the nylon model in the water.
