This knife was purchased second hand here ~10 years ago (give or take). I never used it, nor does it appear that the previous owner did much if at all, but I don't know that for sure. When removing it from the sheath where it has been stored since I received it to take these photos, there was some black residue on the blade. It mostly rubbed/flaked off with an oiled cloth, but left behind some discoloration. There is also some minor areas of discoloration on the sheath. Please see photos.
