That does clear things up, thanks very much. I vaguely understood it (hence my question), but you cleared up some details I didn't know about it. Thanks for the FAQ - it's quite exhaustive :D
 
I salute Noss for his tests also and that test was realistic and most informative unlike most test out there. The SOG handles are very durable I thought about taking the handle off my seal pup but figured the effort wasnt worth it.
