I have a plain edge, satin finished SealPup Elite. The knife is the 2005 special edition. Later models offered the satin finish as a standard option. The blade says 2005 special edition. These models are made in Taiwan of AUS8A steel. No where on this knife does it say made in Taiwan or USA. The knife has been used lightly around the house but the sheath is new and unused. The sheath is the latest (and best version) of flapless cordura with a velcro strap, plastic insert, and small pouch.
I'm looking for the latest version of the SOG Pentagon. The latest version is made from AUS8A instead of AUS6A. The model will also have a Taiwan stamp on the blade and a more "spear point" shape. The latest Pentagon also has the same sheath that the Seal Pup has.
