I'm thinking of bying the SEAL or the Hunter revolver sometime in future(probaply at next spring). What I would like to know about the SEAL revolver is that does it come only with the half serrated blade?. The SOG page has the picture and info of the half serrated but I have seen pictures of plainedged SEAL revolver.

Eerik, the Seal Revolver is shown in a few pictures as being plain edge. There may have been a few made of this blade option made but I am not sure.
The only ones I have seen are partial serrated on the main clip blade. The Hunter Revolver does come with a flat grind plain edge/gut hook main blade, with a double cut saw for the other blade option. I did a quick search on the SOG Revolver and found several sites saying they have plain edge blades, so you may want to contact one of these sites and see if they have one with a plain edge in stock.
The SOG Revolver series is the best field knife I have ever used, especially the ones with the saw option. Let me know what you find because I am interested to know if there are any plain edge out there, I would like to have one in the SEAL model for myself.

Thanks from your info. I also did a search and found many sites with plain edge SEAL revolvers. I also found a copy of a page, from my computer, that I had copied from SOG site that shows plain edge SEAL revolver. I thin I copied it about a year ago. So I think(don't know) that SOG made plain edged SEAL revolvers for some time and then switched to halfserrated SEAL revolvers. I think I will ask my finnish knife dealer to try and find me a plainedged SEAL revolver. If they can't find one I will ask them to get me a Hunter revolver(they currently have only double action revolvers in stock).

Eeric, there may have been a few plain edge slipped by :D , my understanding was that the SEAL Revolver models would be partial serrations, but as we have found, there were probably a few plain edge made.
You can't go wrong with a Hunter Revolver, it is really an amazing knife.
Let me know if I can help you anymore.

Thanks. I will buy the Hunter revolver if I can't get a plain edge SEAL revolver(probaply my dealer won't find one). There's nothing wrong in the Hunter revolver IMO but a plain edge SEAL revolver would be a little better. The real problem is that I have lately bought so many knives that I have to save money for a while before I can convince myself to buy a new one(maybe after christmas vacation when I earn some money) and there is also the new SOG Trident folder I would really like to buy.
