Sog tac auto vertical blade play

So I have a sog tac auto that is several years old. It really hasn't been used at all. It still has a factory edge capable of shaving hair. But I carried it a lot and it's probably been fired 500 times. Well eventually the spring broke, so I sent it in and got a new spring. Which is stronger btw, much stronger. But an issue it still has is this vertical blade play. The cause is quite obvious. The stop pin is wearing a groove into the blade tang. I would simply assume this is normal for any auto but I really doubt it. I have a benchmade griptillian that really was my beater for several years, and I've probably flicked it open as hard as I could hundreds of times. It has zero vertical blade play. Is this just normal for the sogs? It seems to me it could just keep wearing until the blade literally rattles. The only thing keeping it from rattling now is spring pressure.

I had a mini sog tac. The knife looks awesome but it had blade play straight out of the box. The pin was also too short so it rattled. I returned it.

It's a Sog right. Quality, Quality...........................what quality is't just not there!

I have a SOG TAC ST-02. It had some vertical blade play right out of the box. I contacted SOG warranty department, they said this was not normal, and to send it back.

I returned the knife, and it came back with even more vertical blade play along with some side to side play that was not there before I sent it in.

Extremely disappointing. I'll never buy another.
