SOG Trident Folder Blade Markings

Sorry if this has been asked before.

With the markings on the blade of the trident folders, why do some have 'trident' below 'sog' and others have 'trident' to the right of 'sog'?

I have noticed that too. I think SOG just likes to play around with the markings on their knives. From year to year. Doesn't matter where the markings are on the trident though IT is one Bad knife! :thumbup: :thumbup: I have 3 and i love them all the same. However the tiger stripe doesn't get marks on it.

Thanks for this. Just wasn't sure. Looking at 3 on ebay that are currently in Aus (these things are hard to get here). One is the desert camo, and two are the black TiNi coated ones. One of these looks like my satin finish one; 'trident' is written below 'SOG' on the other, the knife is exactly the same except 'trident' is written to the right of 'SOG' and the font of 'trident' is different.

not great prices , but at least you don`t risk customs confiscating them.

In WA and QLD and NSW they are ok, but my SOG dealer here in Tas won't sell them (at least to me - i have tried) as apparently our laws don't permit, and nioa, the importer, won't give them to dealers in TAS unless they have the AO spring removed.
