Sog Trident Full Of Problems

Your knife sounds normal to me, as well. I have had 4-5 with that locking mechanism, and they all had a little play. IMO it's just a trade-off for the super, light weight carry.
 
The Barrage mentioned earlier is so cool that after the spring starts pushing it open you can stop it at any point and the spring will still be able to completely open it.
That's good if you want to open it silently.

Don't have that option on my assited ZT. Once I stop it it's stuck right there and then I've to manually open it.

How is the sog in that respect? Thank you.
 
There is a lot of spring resistance when you close it. I have never tried to stop it's momentum. The build quality between the two are dramatic, and so are the prices.
