SOG Trident or Randall #14

I have both. The SOG is a good production knife made from AUS-8, but the Randall is an excellent handmade knife forged from 01, or , 440-B. Get the Randall, you will never regret it.

My vote is for the Randall. I think they are tremendous knives. It costs more, but the better things in life usually do.
 
I must agree also that the Randall is the best pick.
The SOG Trident and the Recon are good knives as well
for the money.Cold Steel Makes a version of the Randall
model one for less money still.The drawback as stated
with the Randall is the wait.Beck's Cutlery in Cary,
North Carolina stocks Randall and are good folks.
