the 2 I handled had lots of play in blade and were NIB

Lotta blade play on the ones I've held too. Good lookin knife- just not put together quite right. Was gonna get one but...

Nice lookin package but built like crap. Returned mine next day. So much slop in the blade pivot it was amazing.

Then I bought a BM and life was good again.

I don't know much about knives, but I own about ten. I think the SOG trident is a decent inexpensive knife for what I use it for... mostly for fishing.
