SOG twitch II opinions

get something else... i have a twitch 2 and for the price you can get something a lot better. The assist spring broke withen 2 weeks of having it, too much blade play, and the knife doesnt keep an edge very well... this was the knife that turned me off from all sog products
 
My example was terrible. One of the biggest wastes of money in my entire life. The spring broke 2 times and I got terrible customer service. The thumbstud was loose, the lock up was terrible. Way over priced! Get a kershaw leek, skip SOG all together.
 
I got mine on sale 'bout $30 bucks and got it because I preferred the blade shape to that of the leek. I've been happy with it. It is in my EDC rotation as a gentleman's folder.
 
I have 2 SOG folders, a Flash II and a Visionary I. I've never had problems with the AO of the Flash II. You can get those knifes very cheap in the US, so if you like it, give it a try.
 
i think it's a classy looking knife made with a decent level of fit and finish. the flat ground drop point is ideal. i did not like the Ao mechanism. that coil spring sucks and it will disengage from the tang from time to time. i gave one to my dad, he likes it.
