I just picked up a SOG X-Ray Vision, incredible. I love it...Already put a lanyard on it (noose) with 550 cord.... great knife..

SOG REALLY knows how to put a knife
together! I'm lookin' into the "mini" X-ray vision & meebee a "mini" Tsunami :) I have the Pentagon Elite ( hats off to you Ron@SOG! wherever you are!;)) I'm getting the "mini" Pentagon in the weeks ahead. I wish they had these
when I was in the Army, let me tell you!

AET ;)

I looked at a mini x-ray the other day. Real smooth action, don't like the tanto though.....would have bought it otherwise.

Whats the Arc Lock like on the X-ray. Do you reckon it's as good as a Benchmade Axis? It's a hell of a lot cheaper I know that much!!!

Also just interested how sharp the blade on SOG comes out of the factory?

I have a Sculptura with an Arc lock, it isn't half as smooth as my Minigrip.

Well, the sharpness out of the box was incredible, so great that I had to come post on here my new toy. My sister in law bought a new telescope, so I had the luck of opening it and putting it together. The X-Ray Vision did all the work, without a problem. It slid through the cardboard, papers, tape, and wrapping like butter. My hats off to a great company at SOG.

Yup, fantastic knife I have one for EDC and it came out of the box shaving sharp! The best SOG makes !

Now if they would offer it with a blade other than the tanto and non-serrated.... that would be sweet.

Amen.

I have a Titanium Vision and it's one of my favorites, but the part serrated blade makes it spend a lot of time in the knife box.

I don't mind a Tanto, even for most utility cutting but serrations really irk me.

I guess the fact that I've kept it is a testament to how much I like the knife, it's the only one I own with serrations...

honestly I would of bought one along time ago if they came completely plain edge. I hate partial serrations. its a deal breaker for me. full or none in my opinion.

they look like great knives though, glad you like it!

I love this knife. I have three, the last one from Mr. Pirtle. Carry one of them every day. I do wish they had made plain edged ones as a production run.

SOG Specialty Knives has donated 12 FLASH folders to SF operators in KU.

This is the second time SOG-S has supported the troops in time of war in this manner.

The knives have been distributed and the guys love 'em.

Thanks to Spencer F. and Crew at SOG.

Jeez that's good. It's companies like that that make me want to go out and support them by buying their products.

P.S. would like to ask how things are going over there but I am guessing that you don't have lotta spare time.
