I picked up a SOG Zoom Mini today, and I have to say...great little knife! Love the steel liners, love the aluminum handle, and I love the blade shape. The grip feels like it was made for my hand!

However, there are two things I am on the fence about.

First, I like the idea of a safety, especially on a blade that flies out like this one, but it digs into my finger ever so slightly when I put my thump on the back; not enough to hurt, but enough to be annoying.

Second, the detent is so strong when closed that it almost hurts to open it with the thumb studs!

Anyone else have any opinions on this knife?

ha,ha I wouldn't take it hard or personally.
Blame it on Foo Ball.
Everybody is watching "The Game". I suppose.

As far as the hot spots I hear "The Cool" guys pound sand to toughen their hands so they can endure such extreme trauma to their hands while deploying their hardware. Me ? I just take a little abrasive to it and or oil the lock etc. But I'm a wimp.
