Waited all mroning and part of the afternoon for the heavy rains to subside. It fianlly did, so i grabbed my kit and camera and headed out to the North Shore of Vancouver BC.
Parked the truck, disabled the engine, fuel delivery system and ignition and plunged into the woods. Took a reading with the new SUNNTO KB14 compass and wrote it down in my Rite In The Rain booklet.
Stopped many many times to take pictures. To preserve BF bandwith, you are all welcome to view the pics via my album link:

the highlight of the day was stopping in a little mossy area, setting up my Simon Stove and silently (and stealthily (no wood fires allowed) making a hot mug of tea after a few hours of walking. Those pics here:
