Brand new, purchased from a Condor Authorized Distributor. The condor machete all come will a bit rough black walnut, I sanded It to a nice smooth finish and added a finger loop for better retention when swinging it. The wood has nice grain, the point is perfect and the edge will shave, it sliced store receipts nice and smooth. Very Sharp! This has never left my house and I treated the whole thing with two hand rubbed coats of Renaissance wax. Nice thick leather scabbard with dangler.
