Camp knives seem to be popular in the knife world, but I’ve never really understood some of the designs I see. Based on how heavy/thick some I see, are they for car camping? I would never carry something so heavy with me while backpacking. This is my interpretation of a camp knife…made for car camping. What’s it for? Well, mostly food prep and some light campfire prep. It’s still nice and thin, not overbuilt and made to cut things. It’s also convex.
