*SOLD***This started with an old Germantown carpenter hatchet head. Complete clean-up, power brush, light polish (brushed finish) and gun blue (corrosion inhibitor). Re-hung with an old Louisville Slugger (28" Little league hickory) with oak wedge....finish is 'Tried & True' natural. Overall length is 19" with a head length of 5 1/2"...the result: a fast, light utility "tool" that weighs in at 20oz. that allows for quick strike and recovery...2 1/2" cutting edge is sharp...four leaf clover for good luck!
