Real piece of Americana. Made in Olean, NY in 1943-1944-era KA-BAR fighting knife, original blade was 7" and this one was shortened to just over 5" (5.125" ). Lower body then given a bright polish and then edge sharpened nicely. Overall length is about 10.5".
Original leather-stacked handle is still solid, with no missing chunks. Pommel & crossguard are rock solid. This would make a great camp knife, or just an all around quality USGI fixed blade with a reputation.
No sheath or scabbard, knife only. No Disappointments here.
