Lovely old style German engineering. A Puma Gamewarden with saw. Jacaranda scales.

Some slight scratches on the bolster, but otherwise in great order. Good stiff lockup.

A 70's Game Warden with main blade like this one, and a skinner blade has been my "go to" hunting knife
since I bought it new back in the day. I had tried a number of different knife patterns, including Puma Hunter's Pal
and others, but this one really excels at all the things I need done when field dressing, skinning and processing deer.
It easily takes a scalpel edge, and holds its edge very well. I think you will really like this! I've since tried a couple of the
"new" Pumas of 90's and later vintage, and haven't found them to be anywhere near the quality of the old ones from
before the sale and commercialization of the company. Enjoy!!

Thanks John, This one, a 971 Game Warden, will make a fine companion to my 1974 Puma 970 Game Warden and a beautiful addition to my collection of what I call hunter lockbacks.
