SOLD!!!
Up for grabs is my 1973 7-dot Case XX "pretty bone" Canoe. "Pretty bone" are Case's words; it looks to me like the red bone that Case typically did back then. I also say 7-dot, but the bolsters make it hard to see all 7 at once, though I am 99% sure there are 7.
Bolsters look to me like they are NS. This is a single spring knife with brass liners. I believe the blades are carbon steel. There is absolutely no blade rub whatsoever. Both blades have excellent to very good walk and talk with pull being in the 6-7 range, the pen blade feeling slightly heavier than the main spear. There is no movement of either blade in any direction when open. Both blades are also very full, perhaps unused. There are a very few pepper spots as seen in the pics.
The bone shows no discernible wear. There are no cracks, chips, shrinking, or warping. All in all, this is a beautiful knife in superb shape, especially for its age.
She can be yours for $65 shipped CONUS with payment by PP G&S. I will ship overseas provided the buyer pays actual additional fees to ship over and above $6.80. No trades at this time. The first unequivocal "I'll take it!" here in this thread gets it.
