Vintage Emerson Knives Mach 1
This knife has seen considerable use over the years and it shows. The dlc on the blade was quite worn so I hit the primary grind with 600 grit just to even it out. The original chisel grind edge was sharpened to a slight asymmetrical V and will definitely need to be resharpened/reprofiled. The action is smooth, but the detent is pretty weak and the blade has a touch of lateral play unless the pivot is super tight. The original pocket clip has been replaced with a fairly new Benchmade clip.
It has recently been taken apart, cleaned, and lubed and is still a completely usable knife. It could also be a restoration project if one was so inclined. I’ve never tried to sell a 22 year old used knife, but since these are somewhat rare I thought I’d offer it up here. Asking $old
