210mm (8") Gyuto with hamon
Blade: W2 carbon steel blade at 60+ HRC with a polished finish. It is quite thick at the spine with very pronounced distal taper. This allows heavier duty cutting toward the heel but it still allows much finer work toward the tip. It has a rounded spine and a rounded and polished choil for comfort, as well as a convex grind on the main bevels. The balance point is right at the blade heel.
