I'm very excited to offer this clip point hunter, my Baldwin pattern, up for sale today. The steel is 26C3 carbon steel with vivid hamon heat treated to RC63. The handle is gorgeous Malaysian Blackwood that polished up like glass. The guard is carbon fiber/stainless weave. I have been loving carbon fiber as guard material for its great looks and light weight. This hunter is very nimble weighing in at just 4 oz. It will come with a pouch style leather sheath.
SPECS:
OAL: 9"
BLADE: 3.5" long, 1.25" wide. It has been hand sanded to 1200 grit and then etched and polished to reveal the hamon. The grind is compound full flat/convex. the edge is down to 0.008" before sharpening.
STEEL: 0.09" 26C3 carbon steel heat treated to RC63.
HANDLE: Malaysian Blackwood with a guard made of carbon fiber/stainless steel weave and carbon fiber pin.
SHEATH: Pouch style leather sheath included.
