Gentlemen,
I hope you're all doing well and staying safe and healthy. In the mean time, I'm really excited about this knife. It's 26C3 carbon steel heat treated to RC62-63. The blade is hand sanded to 1200 grit, etched in FeCl and polished to reveal vivid hamon. The handle material is really fantastic, the pictures don't do it justice. It is curly and quilted maple that I had black dyed and stabilized by K&G.

BLADE: 4.5" long, 1.5" wide. It has been hand sanded to 1200grit with hamon. The grind is full flat with subtle convex. the edge is down to 0.010" before sharpening.

HANDLE: K&G Black dyed and stabilized curly and quilted maple. Black and white G10 liners and black micarta pins.

Sorry to see this one is gone. Very impressive blade and the curly "quilted" maple is awesome. I'd love to see more blades with CQM scales that look like this.

Thank you sir, I'd love to have a ton more of this handle material because it is really unique. Maple takes black dye really well.
