Gentlemen,
I've got a small hunter/B&T up for grabs here tonight. It's 26C3 carbon steel with hamon that's heat treated to RC63. The handle is some very unique asymmetrically banded black micarta with natural micarta stripes and a brass pin. The guard is carbon fiber/brass weave with natural and black spacers. A unique combination of materials for me.
SPECS:
OAL: 8.75"
BLADE: 3.5" long, 1.0" wide. It has been finished to 1200 grit then etched and polished to reveal the hamon. The grind is hybrid flat/convex which is down to 0.009" before sharpening.
STEEL: 0.125" 26C3 carbon steel heat treated to RC63.
HANDLE: Asymmetrically banded black canvas micarta with natural stripes. Carbon fiber/brass weave guard with black and natural micarta spacers and a brass pin.
Sheath: Pouch style leather.
