Gentlemen,
I'm reposting this one up for sale today. It's a great little drop point hunter that is looking for a home. It is 26C3 carbon steel with some really nice hamon and the handle is beautiful stabilized oak burl. It's very light and should make for a great addition to your hunting pack. It comes with a leather sheath.

DROP POINT HUNTER SPECS
:
OAL: 9.0"
BLADE: 3.5" long, 1.125" wide. It has been hand sanded to 1200 grit, etched in FeCl and polished to reveal the hamon. The grind is hybrid flat/convex which is down to 0.009" before sharpening.
STEEL: 0.13" 26C3 carbon steel heat treated to RC63.
HANDLE: K&G Stabilized Oak Burl, black canvas micarta guard and black and white G10 spacers with a black pin.
SHEATH: Leather

really a sweet hunter Robert . Love the oak handle and I really like seeing you use micarta for the guards .
Thanks Jack I appreciate it. I have been using a lot of micarta and carbon fiber for guards on my hunters. It makes them very light.

Your micarta guard is really neat. A fine thing executed so very well. I bet that oak is amazing up close in the sun light. Cool knife for sure.

Sweet BLADE!! Love the FeCl hamon. Handle is beautiful. I am a woodworker and woodturner and a good piece of stabilized oak burl is always a fantastic choice for its beauty. Nice job on this gem!
