Gentlemen,
I'm really excited to offer this great little hunter up for sale. The blade is 26C3 carbon steel heat treated to RC62-63 with a vivid hamon and alloy banding. The handle material is probably the best Walnut Burl I've ever seen. I got it from @Greenberg Woods and have been waiting for the right project. The guard is 416 stainless steel and black G10 and natural canvas micarta. This is going to make a beautiful addition to your hunting backpack.
SPECS:
OAL: 9.5"
BLADE: 4" long, 1.25" wide. It has been hand sanded to 1200 grit, etched in FeCl and polished to reveal the hamon and alloy banding. The grind is full flat with some convex and the edge is down to 0.008" before sharpening.
STEEL: 0.14" 26C3 carbon steel heat treated to RC62-63.
HANDLE: Stabilized Two-toned Walnut Burl, stainless steel guard with black G10 and natural micarta spacers.
SHEATH: Pouch style leather sheath included.
