Hi guys,
Here's one of my Predmore Short Hunter models. It's in 3V high carbon tool steel that is at RC61 which included LN cryo and low temp tempering protocol. The handle material is some very cool micarta from GL Hansen and Son's. If you don't have a knife with this stuff you don't know what you're missing. It's tough as nails, light weight and maintains it's grippiness very well when wet. This one comes with a leather sheath.
SPECS:
OAL: 9.5"
BLADE: 4.5" long, 1 3/8" wide. The blade has been hand finished to 600 grit. The grind is compound full flat/convex. The edge is down to 0.009" before sharpening. The spine and choil are rounded for comfort.
STEEL: 0.137" 3V tool steel heat treated to RC61 including LN cryo.
HANDLE: GL Hansen and Son's micarta with stainless steel pins and lanyard tube.
SHEATH: Pouch style leather included.
