4-blade S&M sowbelly $36 shipped SOLD
The main blade has a small amount of wobble and heavy sharpening. I don't notice any wobble on the other 3 blades. The springs don't have gaps. The alignment of the blades is good. The blade mechanics are ok but there's light snap. The spey blade has the lightest snap. No cracks in the bone covers.

The Clauss is still available.

Sorry but the price is firm. It's not being sold for profit. At $106, I'll be losing money after fees and shipping. I know new knives are of greater interest on the forum so I may end up keeping the knife and using it. I am interested in vintage sowbelly knives if you have some to trade.

Yesterday someone asked about the age of the Clauss knife and I didn't have access to my books but I said my guess was 40-60s and I suspected that it was manufactured by Case for Clauss. I wasn't too far off. I received an email from another forum member today saying it's likely 40-50s Case green bone. I also think it's green bone.

i was curious about the shield stamp and the color of the bone especially where it transitions to the bolster, so i looked it up in "Official Collector Knives"
could of been made by Case. looks like their famous green bone from the 40's-50's. just thought you might be interested...
