Here is yet another experiment gone cosmetically wrong. But, still a nice fighter style knife.
Steel:1084
Cutting Edge: Just under 5"
OAL: 9 1/4"
Tapered Tang
Black Canvas micarta w/ stainless corby screws & stainless lanyard tube. Has a slight taper in the tang, and also on the blade. very thin tipped blade with a differential heat treat. Hard edge, soft back, as you can see by the etched temper line.
Flaws: I have trouble with canvas micarta and on the rear of the tang has slight gapping between the micarta and tang. Also, entire blade sort of has a brownish tint to it after it was etched. Particularly on the tang, and right above the top end of the handles. I think the etching acid didn't mix well with the cured epoxy at the top of the handle. Not too sure what happened there.
All flaws are purely cosmetic. The knife feels great in hand, comes with kydex sheath.
By all means not a perfect knife, but still a nice cutter. SOLD shipped CONUS. Paypal preferred. Please PM me by other means of payment.
