Gentlemen,
I've got a great little Bowie up for sale here today. It's a full tang version of one I posted recently. It's 52100 steel that is heat treated to RC62 which included normalizing and thermal cycling for grain refinement. The handle is OD green canvas micarta, stabilized walnut bolsters and black and white liners. A leather sheath is included with the sale.
This will make a nice big game hunter or camp knife.
SPECS:
OAL: 12"
BLADE: 6.25" long, 1.5" wide. It has been hand sanded to 400 grit. The grind is full flat with some convex behind the edge. The edge is down to 0.012" before sharpening.
STEEL: 0.158" 52100 carbon steel heat treated to RC62 including thermal cycling.
HANDLE: OD green canvas micarta, stabilized walnut burl and black and white G10 liners. The pins are bronze.
SHEATH: Pouch style leather sheath included.
