Gentlemen,
I've got a nice little hunter/EDC up for sale here today. The blade is 52100 that I forged down from round stock. It is heat treated to RC62 after being normalized and thermal cycled. The burlap micarta handle material is great looking stuff and is from Shadetree Phenolics. The sheath is hand sewn leather.
SPECS:
OAL: 7.25"
BLADE: 3.0" long, 1.125" wide. It has been hand finished to 600 grit and etched in FeCl which reveals some carbide banding and then tumbled for a stonewash finish. The grind is hybrid flat/convex which is down to 0.009" before sharpening.
STEEL: 0.14" 52100 carbon steel heat treated to RC62 including normalizing and thermal cycling to refine the grain structure.
HANDLE: Shadetree Phenolics burlap micarta with micarta pins.
SHEATH: Pouch style leather
PRICE: $SOLD
Shipped USPS in the CONUS international buyers welcome, shipping extra.
Paypal, checks or money orders accepted.
Post "I'll take it" here in this thread and then PM or email me for arrangements. I have this posted on Instagram as well.
Comments/Questions/Critiques welcome.
Thanks for looking!
