Blade: 7" CPM Magnacut (63HRC)
Spine thickness about 0.1" before plunge line
11.75" Overall length
Handle: stabilized curly high mountain acacia, silicon bronze pins
Price: $350 (price includes shipping in Con US)
Balance point is between the plunge line and first pin.
The spine is rounded more near the handle and less toward the tip. It's comfortable to pinch near the handle, but you can probably still use the spine further out to scrape if that's your style.
I tried a different way of grinding the bevels convex, but I've learned recently the way it ended up may be better described by walkschliff. There's convex at the edge and spine, so the thickest part is just below the spine.
The handles is finished with Greenberg Woods' solar wax, which should help prevent color change for longer.
