Steel: A2
Heat Treat: Paul Bos, for 60 R.C.
Handle: Natural Ebony, Stainless Steel Pins, G-Flex Epoxy
Finish: Mixture of five parts beeswax, one part paraffin wax, and one part 3-in-1 Oil, which I melt into the wood, and hand burnish.
Sheath: 8-9 oz Hermann Oak cow hide, generously protected with Sno-seal. The edges may look "bare" in the pictures, but they are thoroughly saturated with Sno-Seal. It has a tight fit, requires a little wiggle/jiggle to get the knife in/out.
Tip to Handle: 3 1/2"
Cutting Edge: 3 1/8"
OAL: approx. 7 7/16".
This one has a few imperfections, so don't expect it to be spectacularly perfect. I have done my best to capture everything in the pictures: Small scratches here and there, and some of the dark left from heat treat, at the plunge lines.
$85 includes Priority shipping in USA. Canada add $2. No other destinations, please.
I prefer paypal, and my address is seniorof81@yahoo.com
First unconditional "I'll take it" gets it.
In this next picture, it may look like scuffs right near the spine. That is just Sno-seal smudged on there. I wiped it off. The other areas are indeed sanding mistakes.
