I grind my bevels with files. Hand sanded to 400 grit. Scales affixed with G Flex epoxy. Sheath cemented and saddle stitched. I guarantee your satisfaction and integrity of the tool.

A2 @ tested 61RC heat treated with cryo by Jeff Mutz of True Grit.
1/8" thickness flat ground 5" blade and 9 5/8" overall.
Knife weighs about 6oz and slightly less than 9oz with sheath. Balances toward rear of first finger groove.
Black canvas micarta scales with red G-10 liners, micarta pins and lanyard tube. Black leather sheath for righty.

Cool. Is this the longest blade you have made? Usually only see yours in the the 3 to 4 1/2 inch range.

Sorry, didn't see your question earlier. If I'm doing the heat treat myself it's typically a smaller knife. This was sent out for heat treat.
After this one I listed my largest to-date which was the maple chopper.
