I offered this one a while back, but it was a little heavier, the handle was a little less developed, and the blade was a little thicker behind the edge at that time. It would been more of a hard user like that, but now it is easily three times the slicer it was, and definitely lighter and more ergonomic as well. This is an "expert level EDC", meaning you should have very good knife habits to use this one, as it is designed to basically be a very sharp and direct extension of your hand. The proximity of edge to handle without a guard as well as the more aggressive blade shape mean this knife will bite you if you are not careful and aware during use. And you won't even feel it.

Specs
Steel: Cut by hand from 3/32" AEB-L, 60-61 RC

Geometry: Convex, .004" at the heel, increasing slightly to .012" at the tip for a very slicey hawkbill profile with an extremely acute but moderately strong point.

Overall Length: 7 1/8"
Cutting Edge Length: 2 3/4"

(yes my original recorded measurements were a little different, I probably measured a little differently....)

Weight: 2.4 oz., 3.3 oz. with sheath

Handle: Black, G10, Green G10, purple and green G10 liners

Sheath: Black Boltaron taco sheath included

Special features: Jimping, cut by hand using a 1/2" wide 20 lpi checkering file.

Price expired, payable via itemized PayPal invoice, which I will send to your email address. Includes tracked and insured expedited North America shipping. I will ship internationally at buyer's expense and liability. First "I'll take it" with comms gets priority. My email address is in my sig if you turn your phone sideways.

I'm trying to understand the handle?
Are the blotches black? And are they proud?
The green is underneath...?

Very Cool looking!
You are always so creative
The buyer got a steal.....? :D

Made a sandwiched of black G10, translucent green G10, purple G10, and forest (?) green G10, then textured with the dremel.

Thank you so much! I get ideas that I just have to try, and sometimes they turn out okay.

The buyer got a steal.....?

I will neither confirm nor deny the possibility of typos in the price, but regardless it remains as it was when he said he'll take it.

Since it seems the price was incorrect, I understand that and am retracting my "i'll take it" so you can repost with the correct price.

Good morning Bladeforums, I didn't really think through my dry humor coming across to mean that I actually posted it for the wrong price. My apologies. The price is correct. I'm in a better than usual position with regard to my shop, supplies, and work lined, up, plus I had already tried to boot it from the nest once before, so I wanted to offer this knife at a lower price. I am considering tyr_shadowblade tyr_shadowblade to be not withdrawn, and have PMed him; any further interested parties are second, third, etc, until I hear back.

You're welcome, but that was my fault for making a dumb joke. 🤦‍♂️

Whoops, didn't mean to drive you to drink!

Anyway, knife is yours my friend, tracking info to come later tonight after I return from the shop. Thanks again!
