A new design from a variety of inspirations. I cut this one by hand last year with not but a vague notion in my mind, and a sense of ergonomics in my hand. The name reflects that it looks similar to a K-tip on chef knife, a term which I never really understood, and the fact that it is a slim, or slick(?) blade. This could find use in the kitchen, outdoors, or even in defense. I like this one very much and it is my intention to make more of these eventually, though that's probably a year away at this point.

Specs
Steel: AEB-L, RC 61, heat treated by Jarod Todd

Geometry: Full height flat-vex, to a thin .004" behind the edge.

Overall Length: 9"
Cutting Edge Length: 4 3/8"

Weight: 4.2 oz., 5.5 oz. with sheath

Handle: Indian ebony bolster and leopardwood, with spacers consisting of black Suretouch, natural canvas Micarta, and red Suretouch, and natural canvas Micarta liners.

Suretouch is an ingenious handle material, which consists of colored G10 laminated with durable and grippy black rubber, combining the best qualities of both materials. You will find that Suretouch has great grip, even when smooth. I find that even a smooth Suretouch handle feels like it is glued into place in my hand, even while wearing slippery gloves or mittens. Suretouch also has a very slight amount of give to it so that it does not feel as rock hard in the hand as straight G10, adding further to the handle's comfortable feel. Even usred sparingly like this it adds significantly to the grip of a knife handle.

Sheath: Holstex "raptor skin" taco sheath included

Holstex is a thermoplastic like Kydex, but with an artistic design molded into the outer surface. It has the same durability and resistance to the elements as Kydex.

Good morning lbsmobile lbsmobile thank you very much. I received a private message yesterday afternoon from another gentleman who asked for it, so at this time it is SPF, but I have you down as second in case he changes his mind.
