Good evening all,
I'm offering this snub nosed Santoku here tonight. It's a handy little kitchen slicer that will excel at veggie chopping and other small kitchen tasks. The blade is AEB-L stainless steel at RC62. It takes an amazing edge and holds it very well at this hardness. The handle is stabilized Amboyna Burl which is one of the most rare and beautiful burls available.
SPECS:
OAL: 9.0"
BLADE: 4.0" long, 2.0" heel height. It has been hand finished to 600 grit. The grind is hybrid full flat/convex which is down to 0.006" before sharpening.
STEEL: 0.10" AEB-L stainless steel heat treated to RC62.
HANDLE: K&G stabilized Amboyna Burl with natural micarta and orange G10 liners and natural micarta pins.
Price: $315 Shipped USPS in the CONUS, international buyers welcome, shipping extra.
Paypal, check or money orders accepted.
Post "I'll take it" here in this thread and then PM or email me for arrangements. I have this posted on Instagram as well. The first time stamp has priority.
Comments/Questions/Critiques welcome.
Thanks for looking!
