Hi all,
The handle material on this one is outstanding, hopefully the pictures do it justice. It's Asian Satinwood Burl that has been stabilized by K&G. The steel is AEB-L stainless that has been heat treated to RC62.
SPECS:
OAL: 9.0" (225mm)
BLADE: 4.25" (105mm) long, 1.0" (25mm) heel height. It has been hand finished to 600grit. The grind is hybrid full flat/convex which is down to 0.008" before sharpening.
STEEL: 0.10" (2.5mm) AEB-L stainless steel heat treated to RC62.
HANDLE: Stabilized Asian Satinwood Burl with black liners and black micarta pins.
