Hello,
My retired knife salesman friend gave me another knife to sell from his personal collection. This is an Alan C. Warren fixed blade. It comes with the original fitted sheath also made by Mr. Warren. The knife and sheath are both in excellent condition and the blade appears to have the original edge. It is stamped "Alan C. Warren Oregon, USA" and on the opposite side "2101".
Specifications from Mr. Warren:
The blade is CPM 154 heat treated with sub quench and double tempered. Guard is 416 stainless soldered with lead free silver solder. The second piece behind the guard is 416 as well. The third piece behind guard as well as the fluted metal pieces are of 7075 aircraft aluminum. The ivory is fossil Mammoth. The main handle is African black wood which is a very nice looking wood widely used in the nicer musical instruments such as clarinets. The tang plug in the end of the handle is also Mammoth ivory and the lines in it are a natural characteristic of that material. The thin black spacers are of a vulcanized fiber, or black G10. This knife sells for $1,100.
Approximate dimensions:
Overall length - 11"
Blade length - 6.25"
*SOLD* shipped to your door via USPS Priority mail (1 - 3 days) including any PayPal fees if you use that payment method. Local pickup can be arranged and cash is always accepted ;-).
Please let me know if you have any questions or want additional pictures.
Thank you.
